Residents from St. Augustine will once again return to Camp Cheerful in Strongsville where they will enjoy fishing, swimming, cookouts, sing-a-longs and much more.
Many volunteers are needed from 10 am-5 pm each day, either individually or as a group. Come out and help residents fish, swim, play cards/games, move around the camp, bring or cook a meal (or come and help serve) and visit one-on-one. St. Augustine is the only nursing home in the state of Ohio that takes its residents to both day and overnight camp for an entire week. Give just a few hours of your time and you’ll be surprised at what you receive in return!
