For centuries, Christian families in Bethlehem have supported themselves through olive wood carving, a tradition passed down since the time of Christ. Today, with tourism in sharp decline, many face hardship and displacement.
To support their livelihood and strengthen the Christian presence in the Holy Land, The Holy Land Shepherds will bring these handcrafted olive wood items to the Lakewood Parishes on the weekend of September 20-21, 2025.
