If you examine the monstrance closely you will find many of the decorative features of St. Clement’s sanctuary reproduced there in miniature. The seven panels depicting the life of our Patron and the inscription at their base, the at the top of the arch, the beautiful statue of the Saint and Byzantine cross other incidentals are all clearly visible. A ring of diamonds, also donated, surrounds the center and the base is a replica of the statue of St. Clement who thus appears to be the one who is giving us Our Lord’s Benediction.
