The Diocese of Cleveland Office for Human Life invites Catholics to Recognize, Respond, Restore: Our Role as Christians in Combating Human Trafficking on Friday, October 23, from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe.
This Human Trafficking Awareness Luncheon will explore the realities of human trafficking and the ways Christians can help protect the vulnerable and uphold the dignity of every human person. A panel of experts from anti-trafficking ministries, service organizations, and public agencies will discuss trafficking and other often-overlooked forms of exploitation within our communities. Through moderated discussion, audience Q&A, table conversations, and networking, participants will learn how to recognize signs of trafficking and consider practical responses through awareness, prevention, outreach, and advocacy.
The event is open anyone interested in learning more about this important issue. Registration is $15 per person and includes lunch.
