Located at the Madison Avenue Entrance that leads into the vestibule you will find this beautiful hand carved and appealing design of of the Sacred Heart of Jesus set in stone.  The adaptation of the Italian Romanesque in the external structures is known by its simplicity of form using,tile roofs, brick wall, stone and wood trimmings and arched windows and porchways.  It is evident here that this stone carved archway demonstrates some of the characteristics of the architecture of the early 1920’s.  It includes the latin symbols Alpha and Omega.   Meaning, “I am the First and Last” as found in Revelations 22:13
