Please join us in offering our prayers, support, encouragement (and a pizza celebration) to the young adults from our Lakewood community who are in religious formation.

Did you know there are several young adults currently in faith religious with formation connections to our communities?

Patrick celebrated the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation at Saint Clement Church. Patrick is in his Theology year of formation with the Jesuits, studying in Madrid, Spain with 12 other men. He will be ordained in Milwaukee in June 2024.

Monica is a long time parishioner of Saint Clement Parish and has been actively involved in ministry programs at Saint Clement and Saint James. Monica is a Temporary Professed Sister of the order of Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. There are 14 women, novices and postulants, Monica and 6 other currently in the Cleveland area. Temporary Professed Sisters are in the Baton Rouge area.

Jeremy and Sean are among 40 men currently studying for the priesthood at Saint Mary Seminary in Cleveland. Sean and his family were actively involved in our Parish Family PSR program and confirmation classes. Jeremy moved to the Lakewood area in the last few years and was welcomed into our faith community.

As a way to show our support and encouragement to Patrick, Monica, Jeremy, Sean and their classmates, we hope to treat their respective communities to a pizza party.

You are invited to make a donation to the pizza party for religious life. Please place your donations in for clearly marked envelope Religious Life – Pizza Party, and deliver to the parish office by February 27. Your monetary donations will be mailed to the respective communities for them to enjoy a pizza celebration from the parish communities of Saint Clement and Saint James.
