Seeds of Literacy, a nonprofit organization offering free, one-to-one tutoring in adult basic education and GED preparation, has an urgent need for more tutors. Volunteer tutors work individually with students on reading, writing, and math skills, offer encouragement and support, and help students develop confidence and positive attitudes about learning.
A tutor training session will be held on Saturday, January 27th, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Seeds Resource Center at 3104 W. 25th Street, 3rd floor, (corner of W. 25th and Clark) in Cleveland.
